RESCUE ORGANIZATIONS
PCHS is proud to work with the rescue organizations listed below. If you live near these rescues and are thinking of adopting, check them out and you might just end up saving an animal from Pulaski!
ABMC Belgian Malinois Rescue finds homes for Belgian Malinois
all over the United States.
Basset Rescue of Old Dominion (BROOD) finds homes for Basset Hounds
in Virginia, Maryland, D.C., West Virginia, and parts of Pennsylvania and Delaware
Cattitude, Inc is located in New Jersey and finds homes for
cats and dogs.
Chesapeake Area Alaskan Malamute Protection (CHAAMP) finds homes
in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. for Alaskan Malamutes.
Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA) find homes
in the Northern Virginia and D.C. area for dogs over 7 months. They mostly focus on large dogs, but they have some small
dogs available, too.
Lucky Dog Animal Rescue finds homes for all types of dogs:
big, small, young, or old. While they're local to the Northern VA, Maryland and D.C. area, they will adopt outside of that area.
Beagle Rescue of Southern Maryland is located in Maryland and
finds homes for Beagles of all ages.
Mid-Atlantic German Shepherd Rescue (MAGSR) is finds homes
for German Shepherds and GSD mixes in Maryland, Delaware, South and South Central Pennsylvania, Northern Virginia, and
Washington, D.C.
New Spirit 4 Aussie Rescue (NS4AR) finds homes for
Australian Shepherds and Australian Shepherd mixes all over the eastern United States.
North Shore Animal League America is located in New York and finds
homes in the Tri-State area for dogs, cats, and other animals.
Pet Harbor Rescue & Referral, Inc. is located near Richmond, VA, and
primarily find homes for Siberian Huskies and cats.
Siamese Rescue finds homes for Siamese cats
all over the United States.

American Black and Tan Coonhound Rescue finds homes for
Coonhounds all over the United States.

Bandit’s Place is located in Connecticut and
finds homes for all types of dogs and other animals.

Doodledawgs and Fabulous Felines is located in
Maryland and finds homes for cats and small dogs.

Fuzzy Face of the Northern Neck
specializes in fuzzy dogs of all shapes and sizes. They have two branches: one in Connecticut and one near Fredricksburg, VA.

Just Big Black Dogs is located in New Jersey
and finds homes for big black dogs.

Muttley Crew is located in Maryland and finds
homes for small dogs (they will occasionally adopt outside of their area).

North Mountain Small Dog Rescue - South
finds homes for small dogs of any age (but usually under 20 pounds). They're located in Virginia's New River Valley,
but adopt to homes within a reasonable driving distance of Pearisburg, VA.

Shenandoah Valley Dog Rescue is located in
Front Royal, VA, and finds homes for puppies and small dogs.
